Methodology

 

We have conducted an interview session with Mr. Muhammad Nazmi Kamis of Messrs. Azhar & Associates where we made a live session through Zoom Meeting. We have agreed to use this kind of method to ensure all of the group members get to participate and understand more about Hibah ‘Umra. We have prepared 11 questions to be answered by Mr. Nazmi. We were so glad that he was very cooperative and fun to learn with. 

However, there was a series of unfortunate event where one of our group members, Affiera Alia was not able to join the interview session as she had faced some difficulties due to internet connection. But worry not! She actively participated in finding numbers of lawyers to be interviewed :D

We prepared a set of questionnaire which includes two sections, namely Section A and Section B. Section A consists of four questions on respondent’s demographic information. Then, Section B consists of ten questions with multiple choice answers. This was a quantitative research methodology where we only distributed it for 35 respondents with diverse age groups, gender, occupation and also religion. We also use Google Form to collect the data.

We referred to particular books relating to Hibah ‘Umra  and browsing through the internet to conduct a research with regard to  this topic. We did our review by reading journals and also articles provided by scholars and academics whom their expertise is on Hibah ‘Umra. This method helps us in expanding our knowledge on the subject matter.
