SHORT REPORT FOR THE LIVE EVENT

For our FB Live session that had been scheduled on 23rd November 2020, we had invited Dr Fauziah Mohd Noor, a senior lecturer in Islamic Business School, UUM to share her valuable knowledge and opinion regarding our topic namely as Hibah 'Umra. We held several rehearsals frequently three days before the event day as to ensure the event will run accordingly & smoothly. 

    

As for the event promotion, we did circulate posters and promotion video regarding our topic through social medias such as WhatsApp, Twitter, Instagram and also Facebook. We also had prepared a game containing a set of questions which offered RM50 cash prize and two Tealive e-gift cards for the top three winners of the quiz. Those were one of our tactics to attract public to join our event.

We from Group 4 had successfully conducted the Facebook Live session on the 23rd November 2020 at 8.00 PM on the main Facebook page of E-Sulam under the name of “Raising Awareness: Succession and Probate”. We were divided into three (3) teams during the Live session where the first team consisted of Nur Syuhada and Nur Ashieda who were the moderators. Meanwhile, the second team consisting of Afaf, Raihana and Morgan took charge as the backstage team where they were required to handle all the technical aspects of the Live session such as swapping the slides for presentation, choosing comments from the audience to be asked to the honourable speaker, Dr. Fauziah Mohd Noor as well as handling the online quiz conducted using the Quizizz platform. Meanwhile, Affiera and Hafizhaah were in charge of interacting with the audiences at the comment section such as replying to their greetings, responses and also inquiries as a method of keeping the audience consistently engaged to our Live session.

    The Live session itself was divided into five (5) segments. The first segment consisted of an introduction where the moderators were required to introduce themselves, followed by the achievements and the background of the honorable speaker. Whereas, during the second segment, there had been a sharing session where the moderators questioned the speaker on seven (7) various queries that surrounded the topic of Hibah Umra’. The next segment was a Question and Answer (Q&A) session where the backstage team chose five (5) questions from the comment section voiced out by the enthusiastic audience which were to be answered by Dr. Fauziah Mohd Noor. Although only five questions were chosen, Affiera and Hafizhaah put in tremendous efforts to answer the other queries from the audience without fail. The fourth segment was a fun game session. In this session, the audiences were required to enter a code provided via the Quizizz website in order to play a quick online quiz under the name of “The Battle of Hibah ‘Umra. A whopping number of 57 players were recorded as participants of the game and upon the end of it, we had announced the winners of the game which was a Grand prize of RM50 for the champion and TeaLive vouchers for the following two (2) runner-ups. The three (3) winners were told to contact our team members to redeem their prizes and we have successfully transmitted their prizes adequately upon tracking them within a week of the Live session. The last segment was the closing session where Dr. Fauziah gave some valuable advice to the audience while Nur Syuhada and Nur Ashieda made their closing remarks before bidding farewell to the audience. Overall, we had a great experience handling the Live session and sharing our knowledge on Hibah ‘Umra on a widespread basis. We sincerely hope to be awarded with more of these types of platforms in our upcoming efforts.

           

After our group's FB live session, we had posted and distributed a feedback form to the audiences in order for us to know the perspective and comment from them regarding our live session. Surprisingly, we received a lot of positive comments from the feedback form. Furthermore, our group had a meeting after the live session or it can be called as post mortem. Each of our group members really satisfied with everyone's performance in this live event. In addition, our live view increases after the session ends. We are really grateful for the support given to us in making this event successful. In this opportunity, we want to thank everyone that involved in this project because without them, we would not be able to make this event went smoothly.
